Optimizing space: a duplex transformed with custom features
I had a blast renovating this apartment, all about creating a space that’s both cozy and practical. I worked on making the living area and mezzanine bedroom feel like a seamless duo linked by a beautiful custom wooden staircase providing not only practical storage and dressing but also a seating area to enjoy the living room.
Plus, the mezzanine has been extended to fit in a smooth and large desk and extra storage, turning it into a multitasking space. Using custom wood was a game-changer, bringing in warmth and character tailored to the project’s unique needs.
The end result? The creation of a warm cocoon in an attic apartment, perfectly personalized to make my clients feel right at home.
